The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), is a senior executive in a company whose main responsibility is to safeguard the company's data systems and information from cyber-attacks. The CISO must have a deep knowledge of the organization's information security architecture, policies and procedures, as well as the weaknesses and capabilities of the company's information technology (IT). Furthermore, a CISO is responsible for leading and managing the company's information security operations which include the recovery and response to incidents.
